Weston Super Mare based automotive products company, PIAA UK, has recently completed its relocation from Locking to its new and more spacious premises in Bridgwater Road, Lympsham.
Due to continual growth in sales of its high performance lighting products and the recently introduced Super Silicone Wipers, PIAA UK chose to purchase larger and more purposeful premises in order to meet the increasing demands of its domestic and overseas markets.
Managing Director of PIAA UK, Chris Hutchings, explains why his company decided to change locations: "Our old offices in Locking had served us well for 10 years, but it was time to move on. The new building features offices and a warehouse facility which allows us to hold a greater range of auxiliary lamps, bulbs and wipers, therefore allowing us to provide our customers with a faster and more efficient service."
Now supplying dealers throughout the UK, Scandinavia and much of Europe, Mr Hutchings is happy that PIAA has been able to stay close to Weston-Super-Mare: "I was born in the town and have lived in the area all my life. PIAA has continued to grow whilst it has been based in Weston Super Mare, so now with the improved infrastructure and easy access to the Motorway, I see no reason to change the winning formula."
The move to new premises comes at a time when PIAA is developing its range of performance lighting, the company recently announcing its new range of bulbs and the ultimate in automotive illumination, PIAA's highly acclaimed High Intensity Discharge (HID) range of lamps and upgrade units. These new products have been developed following extensive testing in motorsport, PIAA systems lighting the way for the Subaru and Mitsubishi World Rally Teams. PIAA lighting has also been used by Mitsubishi to win the toughest motorsport event of all; the demanding Dakar Rally.
Quickly settling into its new premises, PIAA now looks forward to further establishing itself as the leading brand in the automotive lighting market.
